We bid farewell to the friendly staff at the lodge, load up our van and re-traced our steps back through the savannah and acacia trees (trying not to spot wildlife!!) and back to Narok and then across the vast plains of the Rift Valley floor (pictured below), before heading up the escarpment for Nairobi.
